Make your own voxel worlds, play them, and share them with your friends.
Schema is a voxel sandbox where you make the worlds. Start from a real place, with mountains, coastlines and valleys built from real elevation data, or start from scratch. Pick a theme, tell the AI what you have in mind, and it lays out the places of your world. Schema then builds its story around them: characters to meet, quests to follow, secrets to find.
Then play it. Mine and gather, smelt ore, and craft tools, equipment and machines. Build anything from a shelter to a town. Talk to the people you meet, take on their quests, trade with merchants, and fight when you have to.
Schema needs an internet connection and a Steam account.
Build worlds from real elevation data anywhere on Earth, or from rolling hills, rugged peaks and open plains made from scratch. AI lays out the places from your theme and your own words.
Mine resources, smelt ores in furnaces, and build anything from simple shelters to complex machines.
Encounter characters with dialogue trees, follow branching story arcs, trade, and explore narrative-driven adventures.
Worlds come alive with dynamic weather, soil saturation, gravity, heat diffusion, and living vegetation.
Your worlds live on our servers. Give up to five friends a world's code and they can join you in it, even without owning Schema. You decide who stays, on My Worlds.
Customize nearly every aspect of the game through XML. Define blocks, substances, equipment, consumables, characters, dialogue, quests, and saga arcs — no code required.
Free on Steam. Step into Carbon, a barren planet that people are working to bring to life with little more than their hands, and play in the worlds your friends build in Schema. All it takes is the code they give you: sign in on My Worlds and paste it there.
